Knowing what's against me, I'm still moving forward

I'm sitting at my desk in my home office listening to Gospel/Christian music and making it a point to heed my heart and mind's advice. It's telling me "Bruh...get off your butt, leave the pity party of one and get back in there and start creating again. You have the magic sauce...you just don't know it."

The magic sauce is having a game plan for your project, a platform(s) to push your shorts and promotional video's, knowing how to market and keeping your presence on those platforms current.

We all know that the attention span of some of your followers are going to be around a minute so you have a little less than that to get them to want to read your work (depending on if you use TikTok vs FaceBook.) Without realizing it I created a presence for myself where I'm building a group of followers that love the inspirational content that I put up on a daily basis.

This journey has been a process but I have the goal of figuring out how to get my work into the hands of my readers. This does not mean that the followers for my inspirational content will translate to readers of my work. My inspirational videos were not created with that intention; however, the two can overlap.

So here's to having great content in your writings via platforms where you can advertise your work, utilizing all of your resources (like your author page and your website) and having it work in concert each feeding upon the other until you get you desired results. Listen to those that know more than you. I am guilty of not following that rule which could only help me get to my final destination in my authorship.

This is a work in progress subject to change but I am determined to move forward...not sideways and definitely not backwards but forward at all times!
